So much can be done with an older home!
The Forest Hill Home project was a renovation challenge: Bring a 100-year-old cape cod into the modern era.
The house is small but strong. Stone, metal, and textile surfaces blend across and eclectic media to make the space enjoyable yet very cozy. Likewise, the color scheme is that from an artists palate – a white canvas adorned with splashes of color only as an accent to the structure of its subject, the living space.
The original molding hinted at an arts and crafts intent. The finished design notes this with prominent craftsman entablature for doorways and windows. Chair rail throughout created a horizontal expansion of the space.
